Love it or hate it, you have to admit K-pop is all very eye-catching—the flashy costumes, the catchy tunes and most of all, the militant choreography. The singers never miss a beat in their synchronized dance sequence and you gotta wonder, how do they do it? As a program sponsored by the Seoul City government, non-Koreans can have the full experience of being a K-pop star at the SM Town Studio inside Coex, which is offering K-pop dance lessons. As a part of this program, you can learn to dance like singers EXO and Girl’s Generation from SM Entertainment’s professional choreographers themselves. The program also includes a tour of the SM Studio where actual SM artists record songs, film music videos and take voice and dance lessons. At the end of the program, you will also be given the opportunity to have your photo taken by a professional photographer. The class (for non-Koreans only) is free, but applicants are selected at random to join.
